Meet Andy Algreen — Your Host & Moderator
Andy Algreen is the Host/Moderator of the Senior Living Education Series.
He started it in 2025 after watching the same thing happen again and again. Families facing one of the biggest decisions of their lives with almost no reliable information to work from, no real guide, and way too much pressure at the worst possible time.
That never sat right with him, so he built something different. A place where families could get real answers without a sales pitch attached to them.
Andy is based in Monroe, Iowa, where faith, family, and community shape how he shows up for people. That same heart is what led to this series. It was never a business strategy. It came from watching people struggle with something that should not be this hard.
The Senior Living Education Series exists to fix that. Each month, local experts come together to answer the real questions families face, like when to make a move, how to downsize well, what legal and financial planning actually requires, and how to avoid the mistakes that cost families the most.
The series is proud to call Jasper County home, hosted monthly at the DMACC Newton Campus.
This is not a sales event. It exists to educate, equip, and empower older adults and their families to make more confident decisions about their future.
